The River's Marriage Ministry Presents: "Famous Couples Date Nite Event"! Married couples are invited to dress up as a famous couple from history, real or fiction, and join us September 14th from 6-8 P.M. at The Monarch in Baxter, TN for a night of dinner, dancing, and laughter. There will be prizes for best dressed and most recognizable couples.

All rising 5th graders and their families are invited to join the middle school team at 2p on Sunday, August 4th for an ice cream social on the 2nd floor of the West Wing (River Kids’ side). This is a chance for your student to get comfortable in the new space, meet some of our leaders, and see a little bit of what we do each week.

The Source is a ministry dedicated to encouraging singles through a meal, fun activities, worship, and time in God’s Word. They are currently on their summer schedule, so they are not having their typical weekly meetings. Both June + July meetings will not have childcare.

Our monthly 55+ gathering will be on Monday, June 17th at 6p. It will be movie night with popcorn and ice cream. The food theme will be snacks and finger foods. There will be a recognition honoring graduating high school seniors at The River on Sunday, May 5th, from 4-6p in the West Wing Auditorium. Sign your senior up by emailing Jim Fox at jfox@therivercc.com or by calling the church office at 931-528-3660.

Plan to join us as we “Be The Church” in our community on our annual BTC Day on Saturday, April 27th. We will be sending groups out all over the Upper Cumberland to serve hands-on to non-profits, widows, local parks, and more. REGISTRATION IS FULL! The Centered team will be hosting an evening designed especially for girls in grades 2-12 and their moms or mentors!  Greater will take place on Friday, April 19th from 5:30pm-9:30pm. It will be a terrific opportunity to gather together at The River for an evening of fun, worship, and community.

The River 55+ ministry will be meeting on April 8th at 6p for our monthly potluck gathering. The dinner theme is Italian so bring your best dish! We will have storyteller, Lee Bailey, here to entertain us. Stevens Street Baptist Church’s senior group will be joining us as well. It will be a great time of food, fun, and fellowship! We’re hosting an event for your family to experience together, where you’ll sing songs, play fun games, laugh until your sides hurt, and hear the Easter story told in a way that engages every age. We truly cannot wait to experience Easter Jam with you!

Middle Schoolers, this event is for you!  Join us March 14th as we serve our community!

We will meet at The River at 4p to stuff eggs for Easter Jam, our upcoming community egg hunt. Plus pizza, snacks, group games, and much more! This is an event for Middle School families! If you would like to serve together as a family, please register each person in your group. Please note: younger siblings CANNOT participate without a parent onsite.
